author : H. DeanH. Dean Fisher's fiction and photography has won awards at various conferences and regional competitions throughout the southwestern United States. Born and raised in North Dakota, he also lived in Minnesota, Texas, and Ohio; he travels extensively, has visited every state west of the Mississippi except Oregon and Louisiana, and he is now working his way up and down the East Coast. He currently chairs a mass communication department at a private university in Pennsylvania.
